Collecting stamp is an open hobby. You can collect stamps like you wish. But you need to learn a few short definitions in order to appreciate this great passion.

ATM stamps ATM means "Automatic Teller Machine".
Perfins stamps Perfins means perforated stamps.
Precancels stamps (US) With town overprint.
CTO stamps CTO means "Canceled To Order". Mostly gum is still present on the back of the stamp.
FDC FDC means "First Day Cover". A stamp is canceled on a special envelop for the first day issue.
